Man killed in Fayetteville home invasion

Armed men burst into a Fayetteville home early Sunday and started firing, killing a man and injuring a woman, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said that armed men burst into a Fayetteville home early Sunday and started firing, killing a man and injuring a woman.

Alexander Dontae Green, 22, was killed in the home invasion at 2112-B Elvira St. around 1:15 a.m., police said.

The woman was shot in the leg. Her identity hasn't been released.

Police said they have not identified any suspects in the case.
