Man killed, 4 others shot on Shads Ford Boulevard in Fayetteville

Fayetteville Police said five people were shot and one person was killed in the 200 block of Shads Ford Boulevard on Saturday morning.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Police said five people were shot, one of them fatally, in the 200 block of Shads Ford Boulevard on Saturday morning.

Police were called on a report of shots fired just before 1 a.m. In calls to 911, people said they heard gunfire, then multiple vehicles quickly leaving the scene.

When officers arrived, they found one man dead. Police identified the man as Albert Alexander Harris. Police previously believed a second person had died in the shooting, but later clarified, noting this person had life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition as of Saturday morning.

Harris, 32, carried a Fayetteville address.

There were three other shooting victims with non-life threatening injuries.
