A man was shot in the head in Rocky Mount on Wednesday, according to officials. 



<b>ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.</b> — A man was shot in the head in Rocky Mount on Wednesday, according to officials.

The 54-year-old survived his injury and was transported to the nearest hospital.

Police found the man behind a house on Hendricks Street after responding to a report of shots fired.

Officials did not release any other details to the public at this time.
