Man injured in Raleigh pool hall shooting dies; two sought

Raleigh police were searching for two men Saturday who are charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Marcus Rashad Owens, who was shot Tuesday at a pool hall on South Saunders Street.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching for two men Saturday who are charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Marcus Rashad Owens, who was shot Tuesday at a pool hall on South Saunders Street. 

Dudley Lamar Kee, 29, and James Keith Nelson, 23, are each charged with murder, a police spokesman said. 

Owens died late Friday from serious injuries he sustained in the shooting, which happened shortly before midnight Tuesday at Bar and Billiards.

Investigators said Owens was shot following a verbal altercation.
