RALEIGH, N.C. — A grand jury returned an indictment of involuntary manslaughter Monday against the man accused of causing a fatal wreck in Raleigh Dec. 2.

Aleksey Glazunov, 24, of 3521 Piedmont Drive, was passing another vehicle on Skycrest Drive  when he lost control and slammed head-on into a car being driven by Teresa Bagley Weintraub, police said.

Weintraub, 57, was on her way to work at Duke Raleigh Hospital when she died, police said.

Police originally charged Glazunov with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and aggressive driving, but added the charge of involuntary manslaughter after a look at his driving record, which shows a history of speeding violations.
