Man indicted in Raleigh shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh grand jury has indicted one of two suspects in an August shootout in which one man was killed and two injured.

Broderick Sherrod Rowland, 17, was hospitalized after the shooting Aug. 13 on Angelus Drive, police said. The following week, he was charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The grand jury indicted him on all charges.

Curtis Edward Dow, 23, was killed in the shooting.

Anthony Edward Gross-Pruitt, 20, faces the same list of charges in the incident.
