Man arrested for Glenwood Ave. shooting that sent one to hospital

An arrest has been made in an early Saturday morning shooting outside of Carolina Ale House in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An arrest has been made in an early Saturday morning shooting outside of Carolina Ale House in Raleigh.

First responders took a man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Tucker Street.

On Monday, Jahbare Jahid Holmes was arrested in connection with the shooting and taken to the Wake County Detention Center. Holmes, 19, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm and going armed to the terror of the people. Holmes has a Knightdale address.
