41-year-old Durham man killed in weekend shooting

Police did not release suspect information in either of the shootings and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating two Saturday night shootings.

Allan Alston, 41, of Durham, was found shot in the 100 block of Wakerobin Place just after midnight on Sunday. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

Police said they did not believe the shooting was random.

Another man was shot the 1700 block of Holloway Street. He was expected to recover from his injuries.

Police did not release suspect information in either of the shootings and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200
