Man hits brother-in-law, 3 others with truck

— A Raleigh man plowed his truck into four pedestrians in South Hill last weekend, police said.

Dalton Bland Harmon, 49, drove his 2004 Ford pick-up across a yard, hitting his brother-in-law and three others in the wee hours of Saturday morning, Norman Hudson, South Hills police chief said.

Harmon was taken to the Mecklenburg County jail. He was charged with malicious wounding, property damage, unintentionally causing physical harm while driving a vehicle intoxicated, driving while impaired, damaging property and reckless driving.

His brother-in-law, Richard Charles Fink of Mount Holly, N.C., was the most seriously injured of the victims. He was taken to the hospital. The other three men had minor injuries.
