Man hit, killed by train in Raleigh along Beryl Road

— A man died when he was hit by a Amtrak passenger train in Raleigh on Friday night.

The collision happened in the 3900 block of Beryl Road, near Interstate 440. The man's body was found by police and other first responders just after 7 p.m.

Police are investigating. No other information was released.

The scene cleared around 10:30 p.m.
