Man hit by vehicle in Johnston County

Selma, N.C. — A vehicle struck a man in the 800 block of River Road in Selma around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The driver kept going and didn't stop, but police say they have a suspect in custody. Charges had not been filed as of late Saturday.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to WakeMed in Raleigh.
The names of the victim and suspect haven't been released.
