Man found with multiple gunshot wounds in Cook Out parking lot in Fayetteville
Fayetteville police are investigating after a man was found in a Cook Out parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating after a man was found in a Cook Out parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said officers responded to the Cook Out at 6903 Cliffdale Road at about 7 p.m. and found the man inside a car in the rear parking lot.
The man, whose name was being withheld until family members could be notified, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he remains in serious condition.
Authorities do not believe the shooting was a random incident.
