Man found shot dead behind Fayetteville home

Around 5:45 a.m., officers were called to the area on a report of shots fired. They found the man, whose identity has not been released, behind a home. Police said he has been shot and died of that injury at the scene.

Police were working to notify the man's family.

Sky 5 flew over the scene before 9:30 a.m., where multiple police cars were parked outside.
