Man killed in Durham shooting; police searching for suspect
Authorities found a man dead Saturday afternoon at the McDougald Terrace housing complex on Dayton Street after receiving a call about a shooting.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Authorities found a man dead Saturday afternoon at the McDougald Terrace housing complex on Dayton Street after receiving a call about a shooting.
Officers located Kevin Bowling, 33, of Durham, after arriving at the scene around 1:20 p.m.
Witnesses told WRAL News that three children were playing outside during the time of the shooting.
A man was seen leaving the scene on foot but police have not located a suspect.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed.
