Man found dead after hit-and-run in Harnett County
A dead man was found on the side of Highway 24 in Harnett County on June 28 at around 1 a.m.

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A man was found dead on the side of Highway 24 near Highway 87 in Harnett County on June 28 at around 1 a.m.
Officials said he was struck by a car driving west on NC Highway 24.
Jesse Torez Blue, 34, from Cameron, died at the scene because of his injuries.
Officials have not located the car or person that hit Blue. State Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to find information about the person who killed Blue.
Officials are urging anyone with information about the hit-and-run to call the SHP Communications Center at 1-800-334-7411.
