Man Fatally Shot Outside Durham Apartment Complex
Durham police are investigating the shooting death of a man outside of an apartment complex.

Officers were called to Oakley Square Apartments, located at 1835 Cheek Road, at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a wounded man in the parking lot.
Randolph Ladarius James, 25, of Glasson Street, was taken to Duke University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Several people told investigators that they heard loud voices followed by the sound of gunshots. Police haven't yet released a description of a suspect or a possible motive in the shooting.
