Man ejected from motorcycle, killed in Raleigh crash

RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was killed following a motorcycle crash in Raleigh on Sunday night.

Raleigh police said the motorcyclist, William Howard Harris, 52, of Angier, was killed following the wreck on Wade Avenue at about 9:50 p.m.

According to officials, Harris was traveling straight on Wade Avenue near Daniels Street when his motorcylce left the roadway and struck the curb, ejecting him from the vehicle.

Police said Wade Avenue between Oberlin Road and Daniels Street was closed as authorities worked to clear the scene.
