A man has died at WakeMed following a stabbing that occurred Saturday evening.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A man has died at WakeMed following a stabbing that occurred Saturday evening.

Around 9:45 p.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to a unit at River Haven Apartments, located at the 4800 block of River Stream Way. They found Adedayo Oke Odifa, 32, suffering from a stab wound to his chest.

Odifa was transported to the hospital, where he died.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-HELP.
