Man dies after being shot, driving car into residence in Rocky Mount
The vehicle was occupied by a 50-year-old man who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — One man is dead after being shot and driving a car into a residence in Rocky Mount.
According to police, officers arrived at the 1400 block of South Franklin Street in Rocky Mount a little before 9 p.m. to find a vehicle crashed into a residence. The vehicle was occupied by a 50-year-old man who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.
Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene. This is an active on-going investigation.
Police ask that anyone with information call the Rocky Mount Police Department at 252-972-1411.
