RALEIGH, N.C. — A man had to be cut out of his truck after he crashed on South King Charles Road in Raleigh around 1 a.m. overnight.

The man somehow lost control of the truck, struck a pole and flipped over, according to police.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Neighbors in the area said cars frequently speed down this road, and that they'd like to see speed bumps put in place to slow drivers down.

Raleigh police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
