A man who hit a utility pole in Durham early Wednesday has been charged with driving without a license.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man who hit a utility pole in Durham early Wednesday has been charged with driving without a license.

Edilso Aguilar, 21, of 311 S. LaSalle St., was allegedly driving a 1989 Toyota Corolla headed south on Gregson Street near Memorial Drive when he ran off the road to the right and struck a Verizon pole.

Two other people were in the car at the time. Durham police reported that one person was treated at the scene and the others were not injured.
