IT'S WHERE ALDER ALFONSO MARINE. HE WAS ONE OF THE BROTHERS INDICTED YESTERDAY FOR THE MURDER OF DEPUTY NED BYRD. WE CAME HERE BECAUSE HE'S ON A FEDERAL DETAINER CURRENTLY HOUSE IN THE FORSYTH COUNTY JAIL. AND HE WAS SET TO HAVE A PRELIMINARY HEARING AS WELL AS THE DETENTION HEARING REGARDING A CRIMINAL MATTER. THAT HAPPENED IN JULY, NOT RELATED TO BIRDS MURDER. AND THAT WAS A CRIME OF POSSESSING A GUN ILLEGALLY WHILE NOT BEING A RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. NOW HE ACTUALLY WAVED THAT PRELIMINARY HEARING AND DETENTION HEARING TODAY. HE'S NOT YET BEEN INDICTED ON THAT CRIME WILL ACTUALLY GO TO A GRAND JURY NEXT TUESDAY. HE DID QUALIFY FOR A COURT-APPOINTED ATTORNEY, ALTHOUGH HE DID MENTION THAT HE MAKES $20,000 A MONTH. SO THAT WAS INTERESTING TO NOTE THE PROSECUTOR SAID THIS IS A VERY COMPLICATED CASE. DIDN'T MENTION ANYTHING RELATING TO BIRD. BUT AS YOU KNOW, HE AND HIS BROTHER ARTURO SOTELO HAVE BEEN INDICTED FOR THE CHART AND I DID FOR THE MURDER RATHER</p>

<p>Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist, Mike Mays in the WRL severe weather center with our forecast update for this Friday evening. If you're going to dinner tonight, just being out and about make sure you have some kind of rain gear, 50 to 60% chance for showers and thunderstorms through the night. 50% as we start the day on Saturday and temperatures, it will be mild. We wake up to about a morning low of 66 for your Saturday morning. So it won't really be all that cold. So we have a level one and two threat for Saturday. It's a wro weather alert. Any storms that become severe would have damaging winds, large hail. If there is an isolated tornado threat, it would be more toward the South Carolina Line afternoon and evening storms, maybe even overnight as well. And it's all of central North Carolina. Here's the breakdown level one threat, roughly for the triangle area points north Fayetteville southward level two threat. That's where you would have a greater likelihood of seeing storms and toward the Wilmington area. That's, I believe where you're going to have the isolated tornado threat. So here is the big picture what's happening. We have severe storms across the plains throughout the deep south. That's the same system that produced all that damage in Houston yesterday and it's coming our way and rainfall potential between now and Sunday evening, pretty hefty at least two inches on the American model. So I'd say, yeah, we're in line for a soaking and tomorrow could be quite wet. Not so much in the morning, 7 a.m. on future cash showing some rain lunchtime as well. But watch how we get into the afternoon. The showers and storms become more widespread at that point 3456 o'clock. Some of these storms could be strong, too severe. Likewise, at nine o'clock, they look rather menacing and the way they're developing, they will be laid across the area not moving a whole lot. So there could be some localized flooding. We'll watch to see if that could actually occur. And then on Sunday, it's looking like the drier. The two days, the greatest chance for rain would come in the morning. It will be a cooler day. Probably won't even have any thunderstorms. The high temperature hovers around 70 degrees. So our forecast for tonight showers, thunderstorms, some of the rain could be heavy. 66 in Raleigh, 68 in Clinton, 64 in Roxboro. And then tomorrow is a wro weather alert day, showers and storms are likely later in the afternoon and evening and at night too. 78 in Raleigh 81 in Fayetteville. Your seven day forecast Sunday, lesser chance for rain, uh, 70 the high cooler Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning with lows in the fifties, mostly cloudy Monday and Tuesday and then it becomes toasty again by next Thursday.
