RALEIGH, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man following a domestic shooting Saturday night that left another man dead.

Wake County investigators arrested and charged Andre Cleveland, 25, with one count of murder.

Around 11:30 Saturday night, deputies, along with law enforcement partners, responded to a reported shooting in the 9600 block of Fayetteville Road in Raleigh. Upon arrival on scene, deputies found the shooting victim laying in the front yard of the residence.

The victim, identified as Andre Joshua Green, was transported to an area hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries. It’s believed the suspect and victim were arguing prior to the shooting.

Cleveland was booked into Wake County Detention Center early Sunday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
