Man charged with making bomb threats against Wilson company

A worker at an aerospace company in Wilson has been charged with making bomb threats against the company, authorities said Monday.

WILSON, N.C. — A worker at an aerospace company in Wilson has been charged with making bomb threats against the company, authorities said Monday.

KiDarryl T. Phillips was charged with threatened use of a weapon of mass destruction, which carries a penalty of up to life in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

Phillips is accused of making six bomb threats against Collins Aerospace, which makes avionics, flight information and other systems for commercial, business and military aircraft.

The Wilson Police Department and the FBI investigated the case.
