Shortly before 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call at 4428 Liverpool Lane. They found that Matthew Wesley Moore had been seriously injured.

He was taken to WakeMed, where he was listed in critical condition Saturday night. No information was released on how Moore was injured.

He was being held in the Wake County jail Saturday under a $1 million bond. Hand is due in court Monday.

Police said the crime was not random.
