Man charged in Wendell burglary

A 17-year-old was charged with breaking into a Wendell home on St. Patrick's Day and stealing electronics, according to arrest warrants.

WENDELL, N.C. — A 17-year-old was charged with breaking into a Wendell home on St. Patrick's Day and stealing electronics, according to arrest warrants.

Jeffrey Spencer Jr., of 101 Fox Run Drive, faces charges of second-degree burglary and larceny after breaking-and-entering.

The warrants say that Spencer stole two TVs, three laptops, three electronic game systems, a digital camera and speakers from the home on Huntdell Main Drive.

Spencer was placed in the Wake County jail under a $20,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for  Monday.
