Timothy Lee Rodwell, 43, of 703 Northern Falls Road, was charged with three counts each of felony larceny and misdemeanor breaking into a coin- or currency-operated machine.
The warrants state that DVDs worth at least $3,500 were stolen from three Red Box kiosks between Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Wake Forest police investigated the thefts.
Rodwell was placed in the Wake County jail under a $50,000 secured bond and scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Rodwell served two separate nine-month jail sentences for a 1999 burglary in Granville County and a 2005 break-in in Wake County, according to state Department of Correction records.
