Franklin Dorsett was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 



<b>SANFORD, N.C.</b> — An arrest was made Saturday in a July murder investigation.

Franklin Dorsett was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was changed in connection to the murder of Jason Arnold.

The incident happened July 5 on Crestview St. in Sanford.

Dorsett is being held at the Lee County Jail under no bond.
