Man charged in Henderson slaying
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the 500 block of Water Street at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday found Carl Hart. Paramedics took him to Maria Parham Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

HENDERSON, N.C. — A man sought in a Sunday shooting death surrendered to police Monday evening.
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the 500 block of Water Street at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday found Carl Hart, 29, of 647 Vance St. Paramedics took him to Maria Parham Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Glenn Green, 27, is charged with murder in Hart's death. He surrendered to Henderson police at about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
