Police charged a 23-year-old man with robbing a New Century Bank branch in Goldsboro Friday. 

<b>GOLDSBORO, N.C.</b> — Police charged a 23-year-old man with robbing a New Century Bank branch in Goldsboro Friday. 

Aaron Michael Allen was arrested at the Belk's Department Store in the Berkley Mall Friday afternoon and taken to the Wayne County Detention Center. 

Police said that just after 3 p.m. Allen entered the bank, at 431 N. Spence Avenue, and demanded money. Officers spotted Allen and chased him into the department store. 

Allen is being held under a $250,000 secured bond and is expected to make his first court appearance Monday.
