FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating a man who stole tools from a Fayetteville construction site last week.

Deputies were dispatched to a home under construction at 2421 Fields Road in the Cedar Creek area for a reported robbery.

The mustached man was captured on surveillance cameras removing a ladder and other tools from the unfinished home.

Authorities said he was driving a mid-70s Ford F100 with a green driver’s side door and tailgate and a white top and hood. The truck had a North Carolina State University license plate on the front.
