Man captured after escaping from Cumberland County Detention Center
A man was captured after escaping from the Cumberland County Detention Center overnight.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man was captured after escaping from the Cumberland County Detention Center overnight.
Detainee Bradly Tigert was taken into custody around 5:40 a.m. after he was found in a wooded area near Southern Avenue in Fayetteville. Tigert was arrested for Prison Breach and Escape from a County Confinement Facility. He is being held on a $25,000 secured bond and has a court appearance scheduled for Monday.
Authorities said Tigert escaped just before 2:30 a.m. and was previously seen on foot on Worth Street in Fayetteville.
