Man badly injured after pedestrian crash in Fayetteville

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Grove Street.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Fayetteville on Tuesday night.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Grove Street.

Police said a 23-year-old woman was operating a 2021 Nissan Sedan at the time of the crash.

Eastern Boulevard outbound and Grove Street inbound were closed while police investigated but have since reopened.

Drivers were asked to use an alternate route.
