Man arrested in June double shooting

Investigators with the Wake County Sheriff's Office arrested Venustiano Mondragon Lucas Friday and charged him with murder in the deaths of two men found shot at a Willow Spring home in June.

WILLOW SPRINGS, N.C. — Investigators with the Wake County Sheriff's Office arrested Venustiano Mondragon Lucas Friday and charged him with murder in the deaths of two men found shot at a Willow Spring home in June.

Roger Trujillo Perez, 30, and Agustin Yoni Gonzalez, 26, both of the 2800 block of N.C. Highway 42, were found at Perez' home on June 24.

At the time of the crime, investigators said it was not random. On Friday, they said more arrests were expected in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-2601.

Lucas, 33, lives in Raleigh at 4904 Monk Drive, but was being held in the Harnett County Jail on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest. Those charges are trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
