Man arrested in Durham shooting

Durham police said a man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Pinecrest apartments, 608 Hardee St., that left one man dead and two men injured.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police said a man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Pinecrest apartments, 608 Hardee St., that left one man dead and two men injured.

A U.S. Marshal's Task Force took Roger Lee Evans, 25, of Midland Terrace, into custody at 5303 U.S. Highway 70 West in Durham on Thursday evening.

Tracey Renee Elliott, 24, of Breda Lane in Creedmoor, was arrested on Monday in the crime.

Both are charged with murder.

More shooting details, including the identities and conditions of the victims, haven't been released.
