Man arrested after woman's death at Knights Inn in Raleigh

Police are investigating a woman's death following an EMS call from the Knights Inn on New Bern Avenue.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police have arrested a man in connection with a woman's death following an EMS call from the Knights Inn on New Bern Avenue.

On Sunday around 4:45 a.m., Raleigh police responded to the hotel, located at 3804 New Bern Avenue, to assist with an EMS call. At the scene, they found Nadia Natasha Brichikov, 48, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have charged Mark Brichikov, 35, with murder in connection with the death. He is being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
