One victim has died following a Sunday morning shooting at a northeast Raleigh apartment complex, authorities said.

Around 11 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to an apartment in the 5900 block of Stillcrest Way, near Fox Road and Triangle Town Center.

Hill was taken to WakeMed and died as a result of his injuries, officials said early Monday. The condition of the second victim was not provided.

Neighbors told WRAL News they heard gunshots coming from an apartment. There were more than 10 police cars at the scene.

Police have not said publicly if they have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting or if they have a person of interest.

It was also not clear if the attack was random or if the victims knew their attacker.
