— A Fayetteville man sought in the stabbing death of his neighbor was apprehended Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Warrants for second-degree murder have been issued against Theodore Junior Blanks II, 21, of Gulf Drive in the Shaw Heights subdivision.

Alan Scott Ray, 32, was stabbed with a kitchen knife in the left side of his abdomen during a Monday afternoon argument, police said. The knife severed a major artery, and Blanks died late Monday after hours of blood transfusions and surgery, police said.
