Man accused of stealing, pulling knife at Fayetteville mall

Fayetteville police are searching for a man accused of stealing clothes from a Belk store at the Crosscreek Mall and threatening employees with a knife on Sunday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for a man accused of stealing clothes from a Belk store at the Crosscreek Mall and threatening employees with a knife on Sunday. 

When the man tried to leave, he was approached by loss prevention officers from the store. The man then pulled out a knife and started to threaten the employees.

The man fled the store on foot. 

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 910- 433-1856 or Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
