Man accused of stealing GPS, iPod from vehicles
Durham police charged a 21-year-old man with breaking into two vehicles and stealing an iPod charger and global-positioning satellite unit.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham police charged a 21-year-old man with breaking into two vehicles and stealing an iPod charger and global-positioning satellite unit.
Officers arrested Jesus Mendoza, of North Roxboro Street, Saturday. He was charged with two counts of breaking-and-entering a motor vehicle, larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses.
Investigator said that Mendoza broke into a vehicle in a parking lot on Ben Franklin Boulevard Dec. 4 and a vehicle on Front Street Dec. 9.
He was being held in the Durham County Jail under a $4,000 bond Sunday.
