Man, 31, killed in Fayetteville homicide

A 31-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a shooting on Ireland Drive in Fayetteville, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 31-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a shooting on Ireland Drive in Fayetteville, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said. 

Officers responding to the home at about 4:30 a.m. found Dekendric Graham suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said. Graham was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died.

According to authorities, Graham and another man were given a ride from Zero Degreez Nite Club to a home on Ireland Drive. Graham had gotten into an argument while at the club. 

According to a witness, as the two men stood outside of the home on Ireland Drive, two masked men rushed up to Graham and shot him with a .45 caliber handgun. The gunman and his accomplice left the scene in a dark colored car.
