<b>ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.</b> — The Rocky Mount Police Department was investigating a shooting Friday afternoon in the 100 block of Carson Drive.

Querardi Lyons, 29, was injured in the shooting and drove to the 600 block of Nashville Road where he called police around 1:50 p.m., according to a police news release.

EMS took Lyons to Nash General Hospital where he was in stable condition, police said. No other information was released.
