Make-A-Wish helps Rocky Mount teen get adaptive playset to share with twin sister
A 14-year-old girl in Rocky Mount has a new play set specially made for her and her sister.
Posted — UpdatedROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A 14-year-old girl in Rocky Mount has a new play set specially made for her and her sister.
Grace, who lives in Rocky Mount, has a nervous system disorder.
Her wish was to have a play set that she could enjoy with her twin sister, Faith.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina and POWERHOME SOLAR teamed up to make it. On Tuesday, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina, POWERHOME SOLAR representatives, and a community of supporters and volunteers came together for ribbon cutting wish celebration with Grace and her family.
The playset features two slides and two swings.
