You may think this is about overworked, overtired moms. It could be. But it's not. It's about the bizarre things kids say or do while half asleep.

You may think this is about overworked, overtired moms. It could be. But it’s not. It’s about the bizarre things kids say or do while half asleep.

Take my son for instance. He had a nightmare and got in bed with me in the middle of the night. He woke up while I was skimming through American Idol. (I didn’t get to watch the night before and I wanted to see it before going in to work.)

He sat up right in the middle of Scotty McCreery’s performance. He had an inquisitive look on his face and his hair looked like Albert Einstein’s, minus the bald part. He watched for a couple of seconds, smiled and said, “That’s my favorite song!”

First of all he’s never heard that song and never listened to country music! At that point, I was trying to figure out which show to watch - American Idol or The Wild Haired Boy Show! Caiden watched for another minute than said, and this was the best, “That’s just how Scooby Doo does it!” And than he was out cold.

Stuff like that ever happen to you?
