MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Luke Combs has been announced as the first headliner for the 2020 Carolina County Music Fest, the festival announced Friday morning.

The multi-platinum artist from Asheville is the first artist since Johnny Cash to have five songs reach the top 25 of the Hot Country charts and his album "This One's For You" spent 35 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard County Music charts, according to a tweet from the festival.

Each of the singles on the album have reached No. 1 status, making him the first artist to begin his career with five consecutive top songs on the Billboard Counrty Airplay charts, the festival announced in a tweet.

The music festival will begin June 4 and runs until June 7.
