Lowes Foods & Harris Teeter trading stores in multiple NC towns!
Lowes Foods officially announced today that they have an agreement to transfer stores between Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter chains in multiple NC towns. The Triangle is not affected by this deal, but some of our readers in other parts of North Carollina will find that their Harris Teeter or Lowes Foods stores will be changing in the very near future. Here are the Lowes Foods stores that will be closing with some stores closing as early as June 12. Most of these stores will become Harris Teeter stores:

401 Cox Road, Gastonia, NC (Gaston Mall)
1751 Neal Hawkins Road, Gastonia, NC
210 Avery Ave., Morganton, NC
1378 Hendersonville Rd., Asheville, NC
