Lowe's offering free Butterfly Quest kit on 4/29: Register online starting at 12 am on April 22

Update: It appears that all the free butterfly kits have been claimed and this freebie is no longer available to request on April 22. If you were able to sign up, the kits will be available to pick up on April 29.

Lowe's is giving away free, curbside family project kits each week in April starting on 4/8 as part of their "SpringFest" celebration.

Sign-ups for the free Butterfly Quest kit available for pick-up on April 29 starts online at 12 am on Thursday, April 22. If you are able to register online, the kit will be available to pick up curbside on April 29 from 5-7 pm. These kits are being claimed very quickly after the sign-ups go live each week.

According to their press release, Lowe's announced it is "inspiring people to transform their homes into the destination this spring with a month-long "SpringFest" celebration featuring free, curbside family project kits, as well as project inspiration that will transport households to the destination of their choice without ever having to leave home."

The SpringFest event will also offer "great values on products and opportunities to learn new skills through online and in-store demos in select stores."

Starting April 1, you can register on Lowes.com for the first of 4 free family-friendly kits. They will be available to pick up every Thursday in April beginning April 8. The kits can be reserved a week before each event and include the following:
April 8: Garden-to-Go kit sponsored by Miracle-Gro with exclusive recipes from professional cook and food stylist Amanda Frederickson.
April 15: Lowe's Mystery Garden Pinata with mystery seed packets.
April 22: 500,000 tree saplings given out in honor of Earth Day.
April 29: Lowe's Butterfly Quest which helps families create a butterfly garden.
