Lowe's is giving away gingerbread Holiday House Kits starting Dec. 6 on their website! They will be available to pick up in stores Dec. 9-24.

Update: As of 12 pm on Dec. 6, many readers are sharing that the kits are sold out at their local Lowe's.

The giveaway is LIVE NOW HERE as of 12:10 am ET! There is no telling how fast these will be claimed. Good luck!

It appears that you have to make sure the zip code/location for the store you want to pick it up at matches the zip code/location for the area your account shows that you live in according to multiple readers on the WRAL Smart Shopper Facebook page who were having trouble getting the giveaway to work. Once they logged in to their Lowe's account and updated their zip code to their area, the Register Now button appeared and they were able to register for this giveaway. I was able to register with no issues because my information on my Lowe's account was current and matched the store I picked to get my kit.

I am also hearing from some readers that they could not get it to work when they used their phone, but they were able to register for the offer on their computer. Good luck!

The giveaway starts on Monday, Dec. 6 at Lowes.com/HolidayHouse and can be picked-up in stores at the Customer Service desk Dec. 9-24.

There are limited quantities for each store so register as soon as possible starting Dec. 6. The start time is supposed to be 12:01 AM ET according to their PR folks.

There will be four designs to choose from including city townhouse, cool cabana, traditional house or mid-century modern masterpiece.
