Love chili and beer? We got a fest for you

Fans of chili, music and beer rejoice! Pepper's Chili Brew Fest will combine all the things you love in one place on March 31 in Cary.

Fans of chili, music and beer rejoice! Pepper's Chili Brew Fest will combine all the things you love in one place on March 31 in Cary. 

The event kicks off at noon for VIPS and 2 p.m.for everyone else at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. The party will have bagpipes (plus other some rock and blues), a chili cook-off, 75 craft beers in an all you want to taste tent, 10 different kinds of chili and 20 cheeses from across the globe. 

They are also boasting exhibits, hot sauces, barbecue accessories and a cigar tent. 

Now the deadline has passed for the chili cook-off entries, but you can still taste what the festival has to offer. 

VIP tickets are $55 and get you in two hours everyone else. This ticket gets your all you care to taste beer and chili and access to the VIP tasting tent with specialty cheeses and beers. 

Regular tickets are $35 in advance and $40 on-site and get you in at 2 p.m. You get all you care to drink beer, but you are more limited on the chili. They give you four tokens, which can be used to taste different chili. 

Designated driver tickets are $25 and $30 in on-site. They get you entry at 2 p.m. and two soft drinks or water and four tokens. 

What's with the tokens? 

Each token get your 4 ounces of chili. 

You can purchase additional tokens for $1 each or bring in canned foods for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and earn yourself a token per can. (There is a three token limit per person for the canned goods).
