Louisburg crash claims one life
A Louisburg man died Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Timberlake Road near N.C. Highway 56, the Highway Patrol said.

Larry Hendrix, 56, died when the vehicle he was driving crossed the center line, ran off the side of the road and struck a tree, police said. He was the only person in the car.
Hendrix was wearing a seatbelt. Police said speed and alcohol were not factors in the wreck. There is no indication on what may have caused the accident.
The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m., troopers said.
